Electrical property modulation of Au/Ba0.6Sr0.4TiO3/La0.7Sr0.3MnO3 structure by continuous composition spread Mn doping

Composition spread Mn-doped Ba0.6Sr0.4Ti1-xMnxO3 (BSTMx, 0 ≤x ≤ 0.05) thin films were prepared on La0.7Sr0.3MnO3/SrTiO3 (LSMO/STO) layer by combinatorial pulsed laser deposition. When x is less than 3.3%, the BSTMx are single phase according to X-ray diffraction data, and Au/BSTMx/LSMO structure presents asymmetric transport properties. The asymmetry of property gets weak with increasing Mn doping concentration. reverse-bias current density remains at a low value 10−7 A/cm2, forward-bias reduces rapidly ascending content (x 1.8%). Further content, differences between positive reverse densities become smaller, almost vanish when greater 3.8%, indicating disappearance property. effects LSMO electrode, Au/BSTMx Schottky junction, film, BSTMx/LSMO interface whole electrical properties discussed virtue experimental fitted impedance spectrums. Our results helpful for insight into mechanisms in perovskite oxides.
